What will a doula do to help you through this incredible experience? I will communicate with you via telephone and text when your labor has begun and will join you at your chosen birth location once you are in active labor. From this point until the hours following the birth of your baby, I will be there to provide support and assist with comfort measures, coping mechanisms, optimal positioning, relaxation/visualization, non-pharmacological pain management, pushing strategies, partner support, feeding, and any other needs you may have. I will empower and advocate for you so that you may achieve the birth experience you desire. What's Included ~24/7 on-call availability from 38 weeks gestation until the birth of your baby. * ~Unlimited phone, text, and virtual communication during the early labor phase. ~Continuous in-person support at your chosen birth location from the time active labor is established until 1-2 hours following the birth of your baby.** ~Assistance with postpartum bonding during "The Golden Hour," such as breastfeeding and skin-to-skin contact, as needed and/or desired by you. ~Photos throughout your labor and birth if desired, or referral to a professional birth photographer. Fill out a Contact Form or use the contact information below to set up an appointment today! * I will make every effort to be available to attend your labor and birth outside of this established window, but the specified timeframe will be reserved for your birth and I will ensure that I am available 24/7 during this time (barring any unforeseen emergency situation). **Where a doula is permitted to be physically present in compliance with facility policy or COVID-19 guidelines. If in-person support is not permitted, the same support will be provided continuously through a virtual platform. It is essential that the client checks with their chosen birth location regarding their doula/labor support person policy prior to booking any services. ***This package is for doula support only. I do not provide midwifery or nursing services, nor do I perform medical tasks or interventions.
